Maximizing Your iPad’s Battery Life

Maximizing Your iPad’s Battery Life

The ten hours of battery life of the Apple Ipad is quite fantastic, however, for those who use the device throughout the day, it is very likely for it to run slow soon. To maximize the battery usage for your iPad, there are settings that can alter within it. The customization of your iPad to utilize less energy allows your battery to last longer.

You start with turning your iPad off and unlocking it. Tap “Brightness and Wallpaper” on the Settings menu and drag the slider down to 50 percent brightness or even less. Adjusting the brightness will allow to utilize less energy. Moreover, an adjustment to the “Notifications” button from “On” to “Off” also makes sense, as its going to prevent your device from showing sounds, badges and alerts on the screen. Turning off the programs that will immediately drain the battery for instance location services, email, virus protection, and push notices definitely will help maximize the battery life of your iPad.

In addition, if you don’t really use Bluetooth keyboard or headset, it makes sense to disable the Bluetooth radio in order to extend the battery life. Go to the Settings menu and flip the Bluetooth tab off or on. You can also turn off the vibrate feature if you have a game using it. Keep in mind that your battery wont last long if you are running intensive video games.

Finally, make sure that you charge and completely discharge the battery once every month. This allows the iPad battery to function at top efficiency.

Most applications, like that for data scrubbing, are expected to come in less than 20MB size, but if you wish to download iPad games with hundreds of megabytes, you would find conflicts along the way especially when you watch a movie on Netflix or maybe try to save your bandwidth at home. This makes it necessary to pause an App install.

It is also important to pause an app install when you update multiple apps and you would want to give a priority to a couple of apps first while the others wait. To do this task, you can start by tapping on the new application icon to pause the download or installation.

When you pause an app, you can observe the emptying on the blue status bar while the Loading status is changed to Paused. If you want to resume the download process, you just need to tap on the icon once and the progress will continue the process as the blue bar indicates. You will notice that the app will first download and then it will install.

Pausing an App install in your iPad is really easy to do. It does not need any complex process. All you need is to understand this simple process and this will help you manage the consumption of bandwidth.

Until they figure out how to make it easier to install an app without you having to worry about other apps not functioning while the install is going on, this is what you will have to do.

· The size of the iPad seems to be just right. You can easily carry it around and it is big enough to do office work on.

· Other companies are trying to compete with the iPad when it comes to book applications however the iPad has them all beaten. iBook offers a vast array of books and has an easy to work interface.

· Not only can you view movies on the iPad but with Netflix apps you can view any movie legally. If you have a Netflix account then your app comes free.
